The Joan Theatre Company was founded in 2000 with a mission to create memorable productions that explore the complexities of the human experience.

Founded as a nonprofit, charitable, artist-led company by the late Sean Mulcahy Catherine Vaneri and Douglas Bradley, our current, dedicated team of board members include Christopher Barry, Douglas Bradley, Marni Collins, and Catherine Vaneri, who bring a wealth of experience and a passion for the theatre to everything we do. We constantly strive to share meaningful works adhering to a “pay-what-you can” model where possible
